Every day, millions of black people are forced to wait in an emergency medical waiting room in both Brazil and the United States due to medical biases. Together with Zumbi dos Palmares (the first Brazilian university for Afro-descendants), we created posters telling stories of people who had to wait in the ER that take between 13 and 15 minutes to read, that extra time that Afro-descendants must wait to receive medical attention.
